Would you consider grabbing Lecavalier or Ribeiro as an upgrade right now?

They are both certainly playing better than NickBack... but I'd still hold him.
You just can't give up on a guy like that. You have to ride it out with him. Your only shot to win a league is if he can return to form. |

Yeah i'm not in Panic mode or anything, just looking for Input. With such a small league there are a lot of good names floating around out there but no one wants to give up on the players they have drafted...haha...

I actually like Ribeiro. Considering how bad Washington's offence is right now and how well he is playing despite that, imagine when they start going.

I know it's frustrating (Backstrom owner also), but you have to stick it out with him. The reason you stick with him is because his ceiling is so high. If Washington turns it around, chances are he will be the one that benefits most. Remember, Backstrom put up over 100 pts just 3 years ago. He will turn it around.

Umm, you know he's riding a five game point streak where he has six points right?...lol. I know Ribeiro and Lecavalier have more points than him overall but I'd definitely much rather have him.

I second Bondon Backstrom is already on his way to righting his ship to drop him now would be crazy hold on if you weathered the storm in your league thus far you should be pleasantly surprised going forward.

Keep Backstrom. Lecavalier and Ribiero are nice fantasy options, but Backstrom they are not.

I'm a Backstrom owner in my one-year, and I gotta admit I went through a bit of the Nicky Backstrom woes, but he's playing much better right now and riding a solid 5-game point streak as Bondon mentioned, and with his pedigree and history as an elite point producer, he's definitely your guy.
Stick with your studs.
