He's got a whopping 1 assist, -8 rating, and 0 PIMs so far this year. Slow start would be an understatement. I realize he has potential, but with my recent pickup of Subban I am now "wasting" a UTIL spot with 4 defensemen.

There's no way I'd drop Phaneuf. It's only a matter of time until he starts producing the way he has always done. I just made a trade for him earlier today due to someone else in my league getting worried about his slow start and now I'm feeling great about my teams potential for the rest of the season

I'd drop Bozak for Wheeler, unless you really need the FW. I wouldn't want to drop Phaneuf, I know I still value him, so I'm sure there are people in your league who would as well, so you if you want you could go the trade route opposed to straight dropping him.

Wheeler is a very tempting free agent, who I would want to pick up, just not at the cost of Phaneuf, and it looks like you could use another RW.

Drop Ennis for Wheeler and drop Bozak for Nielsen.

No way I'd drop phaneuf. still has too much value. I would rather look at the prospect of shipping either OEL or Enstrom packaged with a forward for a forward upgrade.

If I'm not mistaken, 3 out of 4 of your LW are injured. landeskog, Lupul, and MaxPac. I agree with bondon on packaging a D+W but for a LW.

Thanks for the help guys. The three LWs you mentioned are injured, but I have LW eligibility with Ennis and Couture.

I'll see if I can make a deal involving OEL or Enstrom and a W for a forward upgrade.
