I see in the boxscore he took an elbow from Steve Ott which led to Tim Gleason getting 2-5-10 PIM. My guess it was cheap shot, Faulk got concussed and Gleason took exception.

No proof of that. Just reading into the boxscore. Refs only call elbowing penalties when it's a blow to the head.

Ugh. Still concerning. I recall plenty of others who have started as day-to-day with a UBI only to have it turn into an extended absence. Kind of like Skinner last season after the hit he took in Edmonton.

And it was a cheap shot and Ott is an idiot. But Faulk played after that. I was flipping through a bunch of games at the time so I didn't see/hear exactly what prompted Faulk to leave. Let's hope it's not the C word.
