I've been offered Landeskog straight up for my Selanne in the league in my sig. I'm in need of a strong LW but I'm not sold right now due to Landeskog's injury.

Selanne will be retired next season or the season after, Landy is a gold mine for multi cats. Yes he's hurt but he's traveling with the team and officially is "day-to-day". Injuries come and go, someone offering a rookie of the year for a 40-year-old do not.

i mean you dont draft selanne in a rebuild season unless he falls real far and you plan on cashing in at the trade deadline

we are a little over a week into the season what has changed from when you drafted

The season is wide open right now. I squeaked out a close win last week so I'm currently in 6th, and am winning so far this week. I like Landeskog a lot, and need help at LW. I'm pretty sure I'm just smitten with the 40 year old wonder as I've never had him on my team before. Landeskog would give me an option as a 5th keeper at the end of the year if need be or could be traded for picks.

I'd take landeskog in pretty much any scenario here...selanne might help this year more than landeskog (but he might not if landeskog comes back soon...he finished the game he took that hit in remember) but even if he doesn't; after this year you will have effectively acquired landeskog for free and he'll be around for a long long time.

Went through with the trade. I got a 10th round draft pick as well which is basically a throw in due to Landeskog's injury. I think this GM is in love with Selanne so he went after him pretty hard.
