Both these players are currently availiable in FA, wondering which one would be best to pick up. I'm looking for more short term (this year) but if one has more long term upside I'm good with that too.
Roto Keeper League, keep 4 Prospects (150 games or less) G, A, +/-, PPP, SOG, HIT Thanks, |

Been reading a lot about Shore the last few months. Was/am a bit hesitant as to what FLA's plans are for him but if he keeps playing well they really have no choice but to let him play - and hopefully with some decent linemates.
Don't quote me on this because i haven't done the research to back it up but if you are scoring over a ppg by your sophomore season in the NCAA and play a well rounded game I don't think too many of those type of players end up being busts. Etem has upside, no question, but plenty of prolific junior scorers recently have struggles in the pro ranks so I'm gonna go with Shore on this one.

I prefer Shore.....he's a much safer player with good upside as well. He's currently on the Panthers roster, and he's right on the door step of making that a permanent position.
I just don't know how well Etem will translate his game to the NHL. He's a riskier pick by far, and his upside just isn't big enough to take the chance.

I like Shore over Etem, but I am far from an expert when it comes to prospects...although I did trade for Boedker a couple of years ago in my dynasty league (sweet deal, Gragnani and Langkow for Boedker). Oh yeah, I also dealt Stalock/2nd for Eller/4th. I like what I've seen out of Eller so far.
Go with Shore!

My gut tells me Shore and it seems to be right more than often...or I am just hungry. It's hard to tell.
I like the looks of Shore more at this point.
