Hi,
Would like some thoughts on this kid. He's in the AHL now, will we see him in the NHL on day soon and what might his upside be?

I still like Kabanov....he didn't rip up the Quebec league like he should have, but when you watch him play the tools to be a star are definitely there. The Isles like him too, he's been close to making the team the last two years.

Have some patience, and hope for the best. He's a 6'3" winger with unbelievable hands and a good skating stride. I personally feel he can be a good player in the NHL.

I like everything I see from Kabanov the last 2 years , except the numbers. I have been watching this kid since he was 16 (Not literally) and think he has all the tools and oppurtunity to put up very good numbers in the NHL. Keep the faith!

I don't really know what you mean by this Mcgoo? I was just trying to say he has been on my radar since he was 16. Because I tried to draft him but missed out. So I have followed his career (in the papers, blogs ect.) and watched him play when every the oppurtunity arose.

to answer your question though, he's a bit of a project but things have been looking up for him lately so you'll just hafta be patient. The Isles have tons of youth as it is so they probably don't see any point in rushing him
