Guy in my league has told the league he's taking a step back and preparing for next year. He's interested in Weber. I'm obviously wary of selling low on Weber but I'm looking to win this year and I'm considering it. I was already considering keeping OEL over Weber anyways so I'm looking to see if any deal makes sense to help me win.

Weber is at a brutal sell low for you right now. Your team is already very strong in all FW positions so not sure trading your #1 D for a FW is a good idea.

I would ask for Subban + a forward (Backes) + a prospect at a minimum.

If he sayd no - yuo will likely get better offers if you let the league know you would consider moving him.

No - Weber is one of the best, and one of the studs on your team, he just needs some time to get used to life without Suter, and since the other manager's decided to block off his best players - then don't go for it. If he changes his mind about Tavares/Schneider/Hall/Tarasenko, then I'd start to reconsider - but he's basically trying to buy low right now.
