Default Evaluate this Deal

Hey Boys,

This deal went down in my league this morning. It's a buddies team, and I just want to know which side you think 'won'. It's from the keeper league in my sig. Note no PIMs/Blocked shots, Shots on G etc. Just curious, but I'd appreciate your thoughts:

Team A

Eric Staal (C)
Dave Bolland (C)
Guillaume Latendress (LW)

Team B

Nicklas Backstrom (C)
Matt Frattin (RW)
Mikkel Boedker (LW)

Team Also picks up a 2nd round pick for Team B's 5th. Typically, a second round pick will get you a pretty decent player in the following year's draft. For example, I got Sam Gagner this year.

Personally, I would prefer side B, but you could make a case for side A. It's a pretty even deal.

I think it is pretty even, and would take side A. My reason for this is that I look at the 2 top players and would be more comfortable with Staal on my roster than Backstrom (not far removed from a concusion and has not been the same player this year). I watch Backstrom and he is not the same player from prior to the concusion - question is will he ever get back to full form? Staal and Carolina are improving, and I like his shot **** and the way he has been playing thus far.
