Which way to go? Brodin's value seems to be going up but Rundblad is quietly having a good season. Nice to see after all the hype last year of being the next Bobby Orr

Opportunity I think is the key word here.. and Brodin has more of it at the moment.
First pairing with Suter, weaker competition in Suter and Spurgeon for offensive responsibilities. Rundblad will always be second fiddle to Karlsson. Also Alfie is the other point man on the main PP so for now... ... I would go with Brodin.

That being said, I'd take my chances on Brodin.

Appreciate the new thread. I've been considering this as well. I'm not certain which one has the higher upside or if it is a wash but one thing that I do think is certain is that Brodin has the better opportunity and easier road to success. Rundblad is in a very deep D in the desert, I think Brodin's path is the easier of the two.

Brodin has already been given lots of ice-time and responsibility although it is hard to say what type of offence he will generate.
Rundblad has Yandle and OEL in front of him. Also expect competition from Gormley next season. I think Rundblad's best shot would be if the Yotes fold and players are dispersed around the league. :P |
