PERRY / DUCHENE is far better and a decent upgrade for you...over Ovie / Voracek.

I still think Ovie may be the best player in the deal, but even at his best, the difference between him and Perry at this best is not as significant over how much better Duchene is over Voracek. It's the Duchene addition that tips the scales for me. Plus, it give you a respectable return on Ovie so you can look away and never look back...enjoying the two young studs you nabbed for him.

Assuming all four players have keeper-consideration:

Perry/Duchene.
There is too much doubt in Voracek.

Yep, all of these would be considered keeper value. Am I selling low on Ovechkin though? I know Ovechkin and Perry's values are substantially low at this time regardless, should I entertain asking for a pick upgrade of sorts? Or am I pushing my luck you think?

Personally, I think Corey Perry is a great player to buy on in keeper-leagues this year.
He's the type of guy I just don't see returning to Anaheim.

He's UFA in the summer and I foresee him going the Zach Parise route and signing with a big-market hockey team where he teams up with a couple big stars to form a dynamic line. You put Corey Perry in a big-market jersey (PHI, TOR, MON, VAN, OTT, DET ???) and he's instantly going to have through-the-roof trade value and probably enormous actual fantasy-hockey-value... again.

Seriously, Corey Perry, PHI-RW.
C'mon Giroux fans... tell me that doesn't sound great!

That's well thought out! I think your right on too.

Give me the Perry and Duchene side here. I could make a serious argument for Perry over just Ovechkin right now.

haha pengwin, yeah it sounds great, but i think PHI needs to focus more on the defensive side of the puck than the O.

As far as the trade goes, the Perry/duchene side seems marginally better but not enough so that i would feel comfortable pulling the trigger myself. Duchene isn't exactly coming off a dominant year.

That said, voracek has looked awful in every PHI game i've seen this year, which would be every one except the first Rags one.
