I am up in our prospect draft and we are able to take anyone at any level. Connor McDavid went 1st and Trouba went next so I am up now and I am up. These two are the best that is available as all the notable guys for the 2013 draft like McKinnon and Jones are gone.

Drouin is a winger so that is something to consider if your league is positional. ALthough I really love Barkov, I might lean towards Drouin if you need Ws for the future. I don't think you can go wrong with either. Tough to say who will get a better shot since they aren't drafted by NHL clubs yet.

Might check Barkov's contract commitment as well. GL.

I am not sure, seem to remember Granlund being delayed for a year or so becaure of it, though at 17 I am not really worried about losing much from Barkov. I have no idea which one to pick...lol

As far as top prospects who have military commitments, see Joel Armia. Its certainly something to consider.

I have seen Barkov on TV (like most of us) and seen Drouin live many times (I live just outside of Hfx) and Drouin has sick hands. Dont be afraid to draft him.

In the end, both players are young so we probably arent even seeing the best they have to offer as both will grow. I dont think you will go wrong with either.
