2 Weeks in and so far he has been, lets just say, not so good.
8GP 0G 0A -1 11PIMS whats the deal, did suter mean that much? I was counting on Weber to be one of my corner stones. is it jst early or do i have reason for the concern?

Nashville has scored a whopping 12 goals this season, 4 of them coming on the PP. This team needs that PP to be better, and thats where they miss Suter the most. I think Weber will be fine, once Nashville starts winning more often.

He misses his BFF. I think it takes D more time to get use to new D line mates. Webber should be fine, it just might take some time.

And Suter is -6..although he has four points in 8games. Part of that plus/minus is because he's playing a ton, but still.
Seems to be an obvious case of both made each other better. Right now, there's an adjustment period for each. |

Nashville team just can't seem to score, eventually the team has to start putting some pucks in the back of the net, and when that happens I expect Weber to start putting up some points. Definitely not worth dropping or selling low, if that's what you've been thinking.

I was worried about Weber in fantasy heading into the season and I advised all of my inner-circle who owned him to sell high. Loss of Suter and offensive forwards were destined to hurt his production, as well as him not being completely happy. The cherry on top is a monster contract to live up to - a classic fantasy dip situation.

Weber is making 14 gajibbillion dollars this year. I don't think he has to try as much.
And before you jump on me and say that is bullshit, it's not. Money is a great motivator. It has happened to a lot of guys. Doughty, Green, Weber, Suter. You just don't have as much motivation with guaranteed contracts. Look at B. Richards. Has he even come close to playing like he did in Dallas? Money changes you.

So much for Ryan Ellis being the second coming of the PP God.
In all honesty, they dont have great depth up front and no real quality scorers. When your top point producers are Marty Erat and Patric Hornqvist (who both are currently hurt as it is) you know you arent going to score a lot of goals. I dont know how they managed to beat the Sharks the other day but they did.

I think he will be fine. Last year after 9 games he had 3pts. Then he manage to put 13pts in the next 15 games.
