My goalie categories in my H2H keeper league are very close so far this week.
Me: 1 W, 1.00 GAA, 26 Saves, .963 SV% Him: 1 W, 1.00278552 GAA, 25 Saves, .962 SV% So far this week we've each only started 1 goalie. He started Howard, I started Lundqvist.

Damn close.
I've started MAF and he got me -4.75pts :\ In fact, all 4 of my Pittsburgh starters combined for 1.5 points last night. I'm losing to a guy that's got Mike Smith activated for this week lol Happy it's only Wednesday!

Ha!
I've been on the wrong side of that one too. (though it typically only occurs with 1-start from each team). Sometimes a goalie comes off the ice for a few seconds when there is a penalty to-be-called on the opponents. Looks like Howard only logged 59:50 or the possible 60:00 in the Wings game. (whereas Lundqvist was credited with 60min). You can actually see it (numerically) using the NHL's play-by-play of the RTSS report. Just look at the DET on ICE jersey numbers slightly before a couple of the Dallas penalties. Detroit has some good hold-the-puck players that will soak the free-time during a delayed penalty and try to use that 6-5 advantage. You never know... maybe you have identical goalie stats for your next 2 starts too and you end up beating him by this "smallest possible margin"! That would be crazy. |

For what it's worth... if it comes down to the wire by the end of the week, I've always had more luck sitting my guys and protecting my ratios instead of going "for the glory".

I just thought it was funny/weird. Even if it won't make a difference in the end.
