Default Your Most Owned Player(s)

I thought it would be fun to have a thread for those of us that seem to have the same player in multiple leagues.

I have 8 leagues this year.

1. Who is your most owned player?
2. Why?

My most owned players:
(4) Olli Jokinen (1 keeper, 3 one-year leagues)
...
(3) David Clarkson (3 one-year leagues)
(3) Derek Dorsett (3 one-year leagues)
(3) Vinny Lecavalier (3 one-year leagues)
(3) Evgeni Malkin (1 keeper, 2 one-year leagues)
...
(2) Semyon Varlamov (both 1-year leagues)
(2) Ondrej Pavelec (both 1-yr leagues)
(2) Anders Lindback (1 keeper, 1 one-year league)
(2) Jose Theodore (both keepers)
*Lots of other skaters I have in two leagues... too many to list. (Tavares, Nash, Gaborik, Goligoski...)

I thought Jokinen would emerge as Winnipeg's C1 this year. I'm happy he's centering Wheeler/E.Kane and the line seems to be working but I wish this Joker would put up some actual fantasy stats.

Clarkson & Dorsett are both really nice multi-cat shooters in PIM/Hits leagues. Lecavalier was a guy who just kept falling. Malkin, well... if you got a top 3 pick and won two leagues last year with him... you go back to the well. I like to late-draft goalies, so not a big surprise to end up with the goalies I have.

This is the fewest leagues I've been in in like four years but across my five leagues my most owned player is Brendan Smith, whom I have in three of five leagues (my three keeper leagues).

I'm normally a whore for certain players: Andy McDonald, Eric Staal, Mikko Koivu because they are typically undervalued consistent products but this year I just wasn't able to secure them in many leagues and instead have very little crossover from league to league.

I'm only in three leagues this year, but here are my most owned players:

I don't have anyone in all three leagues.

Two Leagues:

Travis Zajac - Had him pegged to center Kovalchuk and was able to get him for pretty good value in one keeper draft and one 1-year draft.
Mark Streit - The Isles PP will just keep getting better and Streit will quarterback it. He's my #3 D-man in a keeper and probably my #1 in a 1-year.
Blake Wheeler - Was really high on him thinking he'd take the next step after last season. Was the first skater I took in my keeper draft.
Jakub Voracek - Thought he had to break out sooner or later. Jagr and JVR leaving Philly paved the way for him to step up on Giroux's line. Jury is still out on this guy though.
Dion Phaneuf - I assumed he would have a good year and contribute across the board (PIMs, Hits, PPP), instead all I've gotten so far is -8 and 12 SOG.
Tomas Fleischmann - He was great for the first 2/3 of the season last year and at the place I got him in the drafts, he was a low-risk pick that could still contribute if his line performed close to last year.

I am in 6 keepers...

Erik Karlsson in 4 of them. Why? He's Erik Karlsson - I acquired him in 2 via draft, and 2 via trade, all at least 2 years ago (obviously - any time in the past 2 yrs and you have to give up half your team). In one trade I gave up Brett Connoly and Hedman for EK (good deal IMO) and in another I overpaid...3 yrs ago I traded Benn + Shattenkirk for EK and a fill-in. Kind of regret that one but still got the best player.

Also have Kopitar in 3 leagues - just one of my favourite players and consistent producer.

Also have Zajac in 3 - got him cheap when he was injured in a couple.

Over the years the players I've often drafted for one reason or another have been:

Lecavalier (always seems to end up on my team no matter what, damn his boyish good looks)
Kovalchuk
Benn
Ward
At least 1 of the top Blackhawks line

I own Loui Eriksson in 3 leagues. He fell real late in both my 1 year leagues and he's very valuable in my salary cap 1 year league.

I also own Nikitin in 3 leagues. 2 salary cap keepers, he's cheap and a decent own in a 14 team league and didn't cost much to acquire. And I have him in my Yahoo! 1 year league because I haven't found anyone better yet.

After them there's tons that I own in 2 leagues but not more than 2.

I think I have had Kyle Turris in every league at one time or another. Just when I cut ties finally...they traded him to Ottawa.

I'm a sens fan.....

Of course I had to go out and get him again....

Im in 5 leagues so im only including guys I have in 3+ leagues

Carle in 3 leagues - I'm expecting big things in TB and he was undervalued going into this year by most.
Giordano in 3 leagues - had him last season or acquired before the Wideman arrival.
Edler in 3 leagues - top Dog in Van city on a great PP
Giroux in 3 leagues - acquired him prior to last year in all 3
Fleischmann in 3 leagues - underrated and plays in a small market but guaranteed top minutes in offensive situations.

Marleau's a guy I seem to draft all the time. Everybody hates him and he has a reputation for not caring or leaving it all on the line. He always seems to fall so much further than he should.

I'll gladly take his 30+ goals and 70ish points and I couldn't care less how happy he is or hard he works for any of them! His hot start this year is quite nice as well
