G, A, PTS, +/-
As Roy has returned from injury, I have to either activate Roy and drop Conacher or release Roy outright. I cannot trade either player right now nor can I release any other player from my roster to be able to keep them both (we have some odd IR rules but they are what they are). Since we have a limited keep 10 in our league, I may not be able to keep either so it may come down to either who can help me the most this year or who will be the more valuable asset to trade at the trade deadline if I drop from contention. what do you think?

If you are keeping neither, then it's Roy, for sure. Conacher has had a great start and seems to be getting opportunity (great linemates) but it's rare for a rookie to notch even 60 pts in his first year, Roy has a very good chance at notching at least that much (currently on a 70+ pt pace and centering Eriksson and Ryder).
If you may be able to keep one, it really depends on where your team is (rebuilding versus win now, etc.), but I'd probably stay with Roy since he's young enough.

I'd keep Roy as well since he's more proven. I love the production I got from Conacher in the first two weeks but I still don't trust him, yet.

I like Conacher's early production, but I think you've got to go with Roy. Last season was a train wreck for Roy, but beyond that one blip he's been very consistently productive, and he seems to be in a terrific position to reestablish that trend.
