In the first week I finished with a ridiculous amount of assists and +/- (I think 45 A and +30) but only 10 goals. I'm thinking of trying to trade up for Pavelski since I drafted him so late, and no one's going to want backstrom until he actually puts up some numbers.

I love Pavelski.
I think he's the real-deal... I actually thought he had an outside shot at being a point-per-game player last year, but things didn't click.

Pavelski has a hockey-sense that is just really, really, good.
Give him a chance to play with top players and he'll excel.

Specifically, SJ is playing JoePav at their point with Boyle (since Burns is out).
This is a spot that coaches entrust to some of their smartest players.

I'd hold him unless you get a huge return (All-Star caliber).
