It's a whole new generation , whole new work ethic!
Without knowing more , if I were his boss he would be looking at his 1st strike , 2 more and he's out!
Too bad it wasn't that simple.

Awesome. I'm against the first place team in my league this week and I needed RNH in the lineup. Not to mention edmonton only plays two games thus week.

Sour.

RNH has a had a trainwreck of a yr... I know the sophmore slump but man.... hes been worthless.

Hopin hes not the tyler myers of offense... at this point i refuse to believe it. Talents clearly tho but after this n how his bodys progressed u really hafta worry about his work ethic... look at skinner. Stamkos. Subban... if your too frail to play the nhl game get n the weight room...

Don't we like to judge without all the facts huh? So the guy is sick and missed a day of work for crying out loud (never happens to us right?) and now he is a pathetic wimp.

Bad year, yeah - it happens and we growl because we drafted him, but allow the guy a sick day.

I am with you on this one. It sucks for RNH owners, but you can't blame him for taking a sick day. Better to stay away and get better than to get everyone else sick.

He is having a tough season, no doubt about that. Any success the Oil are having is firmly on Gagner's shoulders...

I could have traded RNH for St Louis this season to help my cup push. I should have pulled the trigger at the right time. (deadline has passed for us.)

I get that everyone gets sick every now and then, but it's pretty clear that some guys get "sick" more often than others, and some guys somehow manage to get injured in more ways, and more body parts, than others. I'm talking about the Greens, Gaboriks, Hossas, Semins, Hemskys, Letangs, RNHs and Halls of the world. After a while, you come to the logical conclusion that it's the guy and not the luck...

I'm sure they'd rather feel great all the time. Yeah, it probably IS the guy and not the luck. Some cars are lemons, and so are some people. Doesn't mean they do it intentionally. But every generation is always going to think they're better than the next generation, so yeah let's rag on the guy for being sick.

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, C EDM

News: Ryan Nugent-Hopkins (illness) is "very doubtful" for Saturday's game against the Blues, according to coach Ralph Krueger, Dan Tencer of 630 CHED reports.
Analysis: Krueger indicated Thursday that Ryan Nugent-Hopkins just had a 24-hour flu bug, and would likely play Saturday, but the 19-year-old is reportedly still very sick. Consider him day-to-day heading into Monday.
