My goaltending and IR is also a dogs breakfast, I could try and do something about that but I think it's going to take some time to figure it all out and I want to move fast on this because sooner or later the other owners are going to clue in and someone is going to scoop Brodin up.
With only 10 keepers and 2 rookie keepers, is it likely you would keep Brodin next year? You'd keep Yakupov and Granlund for sure I would think. But doubt Bertuzzi is going to make much of a difference to your squad this year, easily replaceable I would think (although, caveat, I've never played in a PIMs league so not as used to making decisions in that regard).

Good point Ross. No Brodin would not likely be a protected rookie for me. However, if he has a good year, his trade value would be substantial. I'm looking at that way.

Just now on TSN690, Pierre McGuire said Brodin will be almost as good as, and probably as good as, Dougie Hamilton.

Does he has offensive upside? His numbers don't stand out to me. I hear the kid is the real deal though, so maybe a real life D stud vs a fantasy D stud?
