Potentially paired with Suter?? Wow, that's interesting. I think I'll see what happens tonight in the CBJ game and then it could be decision time. I might just drop Big Bert to pick him up. Anyone else following this closely??

Yep that's true, for now at least. I posted a tweet in the wild thread saying the same.

Brodin playing with Suter tonight, already has a primary assist on Koivu's goal.
Russo@Russostrib tweets: "Suter and 19yo Brodin No. 1 #mnwild pair tonight. Was only a matter of time." And Russo's blog post,in which he reports Yeo's comments that he sees this being a long term pairing together: http://www.startribune.com/sports/blogs/188869191.html Bodes well for the kid.

Another glowing piece on Brodin, no idea who this writer is though, some blogger from Finland who seems to follow the Wild in particular (probably because of Koivu and Granlund):

I want to pick this guy up bad. Problem is, who do I drop? Right now I'm thinking Bertuzzi. EJ is also off to another great start but part of the idea in picking up Brodin is to add some depth to my D. I dunno. Scoring Cats and Team is in sig, what would you guys do?? My goaltending and IR is also a dogs breakfast, I could try and do something about that but I think it's going to take some time to figure it all out and I want to move fast on this because sooner or later the other owners are going to clue in and someone is going to scoop Brodin up.

Would you guys consider dropping Wideman for Brodin in a 1-year league? Bit of a risk but it doesn't seem like Wideman is going to be producing much in CGY, and he's sitting on my bench anyways (Boyle,Edler,Shattenkirk and Goli ahead of him).

No way I'd make that move in a 1-year league. Brodin is a raw rookie on a 2-way contract who could be sent down any minute, Wideman was signed to a massive contract to be their PP QB, and is going to get the icetime commensurate with that.
