Funny thing is a few years ago I was offered Kane/Parise for him and turned it down. Of course that was his last good season.

at the time turning it down was what everyone would have told you to do

there are still some who would have told you to turn it down going into this season

i tried to get ovechkin off my uncle multiple times over the years in my family league

this past summer i was going to try again and i absolutely could have gotten him if i wanted him at the last second i backed out i just didnt have the confidence to do it

and thats in a small league with only 36 forward keepers total so one screwed up keeper isnt going to hurt you in the long run but i still couldnt do it at the end of the day

Wait for Ovie to have a good stretch of games putting up multi pts. Then try and trade him. It's all about timing.

Agreed 100% you're better off waiting until Ovi goes on a run and gives people that glimmer of hope that's he's turning around to 60 goal/110pt Ovi.
Of course, we all know that likely won't happen at this point, but it's all about playing off that emotion and getting Max value.
2 years ago i traded Ovi and shattenkirk for karlsson, Kane and parise. Funny how things change.

Wait for it, and ride it out. But don't deal him now. Stocks never been lower.

Part of the problem is owners still want the sky for him, myself included. We all feel the second we trade him he becomes that 90+ point guy again.
