In points only leagues, I like players that play huge PP minutes. Kovy plays all the PP time that's available every game, and he produces. Ovechkin plays the same, but the score sheet is blank.

Ovechkin needs to change his intensity level, his attitude and his offensive patterns.
He doesn't look like he's gonna change anything soon unfortunately... I hope I'm wrong as a Backstrom owner but AO seems to be going downhill.

This will seem a little harsh (and I own him) but he doesn't look very smart in general. He doesn't strike me as a person who will look at the situation and try to change, evolve or try new things. He's insanely predictable. Smart players will try different receipes or change pattern like Stamkos did a couple years back.
On the other hand he's a slow starter but he played 40 games in the KHL

***UPDATE***
I had sent an offer out to the Ovie owner when Benn was playing his first game. The offer was: My: Benn For His: Ovie and a 2nd round pick My plan was to put the offer out there so he would counter with something. Well that offer is still sitting on the table and I'm wondering if I should be pulling that offer after we have seen Benn put up 6 points in 3 games. Do I still win the deal if he hits the accept button today?

I would stick with Benn, and I probably would have from the beginning. No denying Ovi was great, but like others have said, unless he changes his play style, he's gonna get shut down on every offensive rush.
Meanwhile, look at Dallas' situation. They really stacked up on talent in the offseason, and Benn is playing with Jagr and Eriksson if I'm not mistaken. Not a bad trio. And once some of the veterans on the team are gone, he'll still have Loui by his side. Not even that, but look at the teams as a whole. Backs is cold in Washington, their defensive situation isnt much better and their goaltenders can't seem to tell their ass from their elbows this season. Morale must be so low in that dressing room. Now look at Dallas, a few fresh new (established) faces like Jagr and Whitney to really lead the younger guys along. They go along with the solid players Dallas already has (Benn, Eriksson, Ryder etc). Plus their goaltending situation is much more steady with Lehtonen playing really well this season. I'd imagine a lot of positivity in Dallas, causing them to continue playing really well. Compare that with Washington and everything from the coaching change being ineffective and their star players not performing, to the fans becoming disgruntled, and it seems like the future looks pretty bright for this Dallas squad. I would personally feel much safer rolling with Benn.

The offer nets me a 2nd, and this last offseason someone traded Kopitar for a 2nd. So the pick is worth a lot.
So the question is, do I win the deal if I get Ovie and the pick. I see Benn as a 75-85 point forward going forward. Isn't that what we can expect out of Ovie? And if so, then I would win the deal getting the second.... Right???

I would do it with the pick. Even if Ovie is only a 70 point guy now, getting him and Kopitar (or someone similar) for Benn is a great deal. That said, I'm a huge Benn fan.
