Suter's a stud. Don't let a slow start fool you. The PP1 in Minne looks beast and he's bound to start picking up points.

I think now is a good time to buy low. In fact, I just dealt Stamkos for Neal + Suter, and couldn't be happier.

Am I thinking right here?

Thanks for the help.
Don't deal Tarasenko. I've watched most of the Blues games early and he is the real deal.

In a straight points pool, I honestly don't see Suter going over 28 pts this season. He is off to a slow start, which is the perfect time to go after him.

Good luck!

Here's his latest offer.

To me: Suter & Ennis

To him: Berglund, 2013 1st(pick 7-9) & 1 of Turris or Gagner

I feel that this is a little high, but I really need a D.

Any thoughts on what I should counter.

Thanks

So, we're about 2 weeks further ahead and Suter is still ice cold.He had that 4 point stretch, now 3 games again with goose eggs. He's on pace for maybe 20 pts and it seems like the other GM is trying to fleece you, especially since your D only count points in your format.

I can see you really could use some points from the D, but if you are going to give all that up....why not offer the same package to a few other GMs and see if it mmight get you back an even more offensive D man?

Good luck!

I got him a few weeks ago for Tyutin & Steen (right before Steen got injured). I'm happy with that so far. So much so, I traded off my other keeper-quality d-men (Goligoski & Wideman) along with some other pieces to land Rinne.

Let me qualify. . .

Minnesota tops in the division and their "stud blueliner" Ryan Suter is leading the team in points.

that is fine however i personally dont trade for players value relative to their team but rather relative to other players at their position in the league

he very well might be their stud blueliner but to me a 40-45 point player is a 40-45 point player how that stacks up on his team is irrelevant
