Yes I prefer Duchene to Heatley in a keeper, although you may lose out short term, but I doubt it. Out of interest who are the 8 guys you consider your keepers?

Heatley is primed to have a good year as Minnesota has looked good so far and he has been playing with m.koivu who is a legit playmaker exactly what heatley needs to perform well. Since he is a sniper and not the best skater or have the best conditioning.
However if we are talking keepers here, Duchene has a much better skill set. He is a great skater, good shot and has some of the best hands out there. He won't rely on anyone to perform, he is a future stud no quesiton and Colorados best years are on the horizon as they have a good young core. So in short take Duchene while you can, he is much younger and a better all around player. I see no reason why he won't be a consistent 80 point player and with last season behind him I really see good things for him in the future. He is the real deal he just hasnt truly broke out to his true potential yet.
