Price, Fleury, and Bryzgalov btw were all excellent tonight though two of them lost.

Anybody that drafted Ward (or Bryzgalov, for that matter) as a top 10 goalie is getting what they deserve. Ward has been an exceptionally bad fantasy goalie for most of his career, I don't get why people think that is magically going to change. This is the wrong place for another Cam Ward rant, I suppose...

Cam Ward, exceptionally bad? No. Overrated? Yes. Same as Schneider. People were just expecting too much. There's always an adjustment when a guy becomes a starter. He has to change his body, his mind and his daily routine as well. Schneider will be ok once the Nucks are fully healthy but he's no top 5 fantasy tender just yet.

The man has a career 2.74 GAA and .910 S%. Totals which he pretty much replicated last season. That's pretty terrible.

Anyway, I think Schneider will be fine. Lots of pressure on him tonight, and that's putting it lightly. Once Luongo is dealt he'll probably be able to relax a bit more. Expectations will still be pretty high, but at least the fans won't be clamoring for Luuuuu to regain the reins. Also, it's only one game. One period, actually.
