I picked him up super cheap this summer (Paul Byron and a 6th round pick, roughly 130th overall in a prospect draft), so I'm definitely keeping the optimism with him. Losing out on that 1st line spot sucks, but playing on the top PP unit definitely makes up for it. He had a rough couple years but the guy can still score goals. 50 points is very achievable for him.

i'm not much of an okposo fan so i do think boyes will end up taking
away okposo's even strength time on top line.

50pt pace is reasonable.

bailey will be back soon and my bet is that he knocks okposo out of the top 6 entirely.

I've been down this road with Boyes... after the big season in St. Louis. I don't believe this will be sustainable long-term. Ride the wave now, and if he finishes with strong numbers sell high.
