What does everyone here expect from Brad Boyes this season with the Islanders?

Will he bounce back to that 50 point level (based on 82 games of course) or will he fade away from the NHL?

its the health concerns thats the deal with this guy right

I'm not aware of any health issues with Boyes. Last season was the first one in his career in which he missed any games and he still played 65 games. I think he was healthy scratch a few times too so he didn't miss all the games because of an injury.

i wasnt sure why the drop to be honest thought maybe injuries played a part

with okposo owners drooling over the thought of okposo finally getting his shot with tavares i fully expect boyes to slide right in there and screw over okoposo owners yet again

i think 50 is a possibility might go higher if he does line up on the first line

I could be wrong but didn't Okposo already take that top line role back from Boyes?

I see no reason why not, I just think the BUF experiment was a huge failure...I dunno wtf is up with the Sabres but they are poison to fantasy stats...look what happened to Leino's numbers too. Recall Boyes had a couple seasons where he flirted with 70 pts so I think 50 will be pretty easy for him since he should be a lock for a top 6 spot on that roster. If he gets top line duties then who knows? He's also playing for a contract this year so I can see a good season out of him

Yeah I think Okposo's been in 1st line with Tavares at the camp while Boyes has been on the 2nd line. Boyes has been on the 1st PP-unit though in place of Okposo.
