League and team details in my signature.
The owner of the #1 pick in our draft is looking to trade it because he is short on picks. I, on the other hand have a lot of picks. I have two firsts(3,5), three seconds(11,12,19), and two fourths(31,39)...... Here are the top options available: F - Iginla, Semin, Koivu, Benn, Heatley, J.Staal, Pominville, E.Kane, Carter, Yakupov, Landeskog... D - Byfuglien, Pietrangelo, Boyle, Chara, Yandle, Greeen, Keith... G - Kiprusoff, Smith, Price, Lehtonen, Luongo, Brodeur... Is there anyone there that I should be moving some of my picks to secure, or should I just just let the available players fall to me as they may?

No, you don't want it.
Sit tight. Your keeper group is great, you want to keep your top-end quantity of picks. There are lots of good options there, I don't see one guy standing out. You are going for the win THIS year with this team. And there is no guy that stands out for just THIS year. |

Normally I would advise quality over quantity but in this case I think I would prefer taking 5 of those guys in the first 19 rather than trade up.
No one on that list looks like they would supplant a current keeper of yours other than if Yakupov has a huge season. Since Benn and a good number of top D-men are also available I like the idea of sticking with what you have. Especially since you have two picks in the top five.

I would agree with the rest. Plus, two of the guys you listed should fall to you anway with your two first rounders. No reason to trade up.

If you really want to move up a couple spots, maybe offer your 3rd overall plus a 4th rounder for his 1st.
Doubt he goes for it, but if he's desperate to add a pick, he might.

Sit with what you have, there is no one out there that is a "must have".

I agree that there isnt anyone there worth jumping up a couple picks from either #3 or #5. But is there anyone there that I should be sending two second rounders for? Or maybe a high second and a high fourth?

I still don't see anyone worth trying to move up for. Really it all depends on how the other GMs draft and you won't know that til it is already going on.
