I am in a 16 team dynasty league with G,A,PPP,PIM,+|-,SOG as cats. Should I trade Briere for Downie? I could use more PIMs.

Briere's PIM are pretty decent and he can still produce for a few more years. If you need PIM, Downie is good but you should be able to get him for less. If not, look elsewhere.

That's what I was thinking as well. I believe Briere is worth a bit more. I am going to ask about Yakupov. Of course I will need to add more to Briere to get him but how much more?

He finished last but has made a lot of trades using picks and prospects and will challenge this year. He has now Giroux, Backstrom, Hall, Landeskog, Kane, Kessel, Price, and Rask.

briere isnt the kind of player to win you a league he hasnt been in a long time i dont see how that is enticing to him for yak to be honest
plus while he may have upgraded his team you might notice something about those players you listed compared to briere his team just doesnt look one briere away from winning its a pretty far jump to go from downie to yak |

The thing is after those guys that I listed he does not have any more depth to his team and while Briere is no longer PPG guy he is still a very good depth guy. But you are right. It might be tough to get Yak.
