Does he make it for the start of the season ?

Daniel Briere (wrist) says he can't shoot the puck hard yet and won't play this weekend.
Briere did say he's making good progress from the wrist injury he suffered while playing in Germany during the lockout. The Flyers don't expect him to miss an extended period of time, although they're not exactly the most honest team when it comes to injuries. Dubious injury news is the last thing owners want to read before a draft and we would understand if you knocked Briere down a peg or two because of this ailment.
