Default Kane -Giroux

Kane for Giroux straight up?
Who wins? - I'd say Giroux.

It's close.
I've always like P.Kane for low 80s.
I like Giroux for low 80s too.

I think they are very close.

I do believe that Giroux's 2011-2012 season, last year with Jagr, will go down as his best season of his career. They were a perfect match.

And Pat Kane only had a really down season last year because Chicago tried him at center and he is at his offensive-best on the wing (where he doesn't have to focus so much on the full-ice and defensive matching).

It's very, very close.
Very.

it's almost a wash I think...personally I like what the Hawks are doing with their team a helluva lot better than what the Flyers are doing. Bottom line is that they're both ppg players who can go +/- 10 on that number depending on the season and I see the Hawks having much more success in the near future than Philly, I'd lean towards Kane but only slightly in pts-only

Given the points olnly and no positional requirements I would go with Kane, better team around him and you already have 3 flyers.

Collecting Flyers will not help you win.

I agree - Collecting flyers isn't much of a strategy.. I am however dropping Simmonds and Hartnell. I thought having Giroux and Voracek playing together, if that continues, is a good tandem.

In most points-only leagues... if Yahoo (and others) fix their positions... then:
As value goes:
80pts LW > 80pt RW > 80pt C

Left wing could (could!) be the thinnest/toughest position to stock good players in next year IF (big IF) fantasy website buckle down and set a player's position to their main position.

C/LW Datsyuk: He's really a C
C/LW Zetterberg: He's really a C
LW/RW Neal: He's really a RW
LW/RW Kovalchuk: Really a RW
LW/RW Ovechkin: Played RW all year
LW/RW Nash: I think he played RW all year

On left wing, it could be:
*Parise
*D.Sedin
*Hall
*E.Kane
*Ryan
...
See how fast it thins out.
Anyways, RW is thinner than C too... so I'd favour keeping the RW if points are equal.
