Alright fellas, I forgot to update this thread for a while but thanks to some positive encouragement and frequent reminders by my good friend Pengwin, I thought it was about time!

We're at the 2/3rd mark of the season and as many predicted, the cream has risen to the top. Despite a recent "slump" by his standards, Stamkos is #1 with 23 goals. At his current rate, he would wrap up the season with 34 which would make Dyz (where the hell is that guy anyway?) the winner if we extrapolated. Something tells me Stammer will pick up the pace over the home stretch... but nevertheless it should be an exciting finish that will likely come down to the final game!

Others still in the mix:
-Kunitz, whom nobody picked, continues his cinderella season with 19
-Tavares (MY PICK - beats chest proudly in shameless self promotion) sits pretty at 19
-Carter and Kane, both of whom nobody picked round out the top 5 with 18 and 17
-Neal, who's slowed to a crawl without the Malkinator, remains in the mix with 17
-Don't look now but Ovie, the once forgotten hasbeen, has finally cut the Mr. Bigs out his diet and is coming on strong 16... he could be a dark horse... nah who are we kidding, Stammer will win.

Ovechkin is now tied for the lead with Stamkos. Stamkos has 10 games left, AO has 9. I think at this stage its a two horse race, but it is possible that Tavares goes on a tear and takes it out.

Ovie's recent tear definitely makes things more interesting... for it a while it looked like Stammer was going to run away with it and it was simply a matter of who had the right number. This opens up way more potential winners.

I think this one will come down to the final few games of the season if not the very last.
