Multi-Cat League - G, A, +/-, PIM, Hits
Which one would you choose from Burns, Hedman or Kulikov? As they all have good long term potential, i am more focused on this season. Thanks.

it would be easier if we need burns injury status? its cloudy right now
for one year i would rank them Burns Kulikov Hedman i compared them to CBS projections and i got the same thing Player Compare Projections NHL Standard Stats - Average Player Action GP G A PTS +/- PIM PPG SHG SOG FPTS Burns, Brent D SJ 79 14 27 41 -2 46 7 0 209 370.7 Kulikov, Dmitry D FLA 75 13 29 42 -1 48 5 0 143 334.9 Hedman, Victor D TB 80 6 24 30 8 75 3 0 112 265.1

I believe Burns' injury will really limit him this year. Otherwise he would be the clear choose IMO.
I think you can expect similar stats for Kulikov and Hedman this year with a slight advantage to Kulikov (I believe he was doing good things last season with Campbell(?)). I'd go with Kulikov, Hedman and Burns (because of his injury risk).

In that format I believe it's Hedman by a good margin. His SEL numbers are hard to ignore and it's just a matter of time before he's putting up 45+pts with tons of PIMs & Hits.

Thanks, you guys have somewhat echoed my thoughts. I originally held Burns but have the opportunity to swap a keeper prior to our draft. There seems to be uncertainty surrounding Burns. I'm liking Hedman's recent performance in the KHL plus his likely positive margin in PIM and Hits.

kulikov hits more than hedman. look at ther stats. hedman is a huge man, but he plays defence with sound positioning and by taking away space. he will use his body to seperate an attacker from the puck, but he ralrely lays down a hit. shame, because it could make him an even more feared defender if he used his enourmous size more to his advantage.

you have to consider how Carle and Salo will affect hedman,
will he get less pp time? likely as long Salo is healthy where kulikov will now get more time with garrison gone.

1. Burns (have to consider his health, in this case I feel he's still worth the gamble, unless things are even worse than I know.)
2. Kulikov 3. Hedman |
