Hi all, I had thought the Khok was an easy drop but that tweet posted on the dobber homepage yesterday about him coming back to the bruins for camp got me thinking.. I was leaning towards keeping eller as I see him being closest to contributing.. I like Morins multi-cat potential but dont like his injury issues and situation (lots of competition).. Plus whoever I keep will likely get dropped this off season as I have several top picks in the upcoming 2013 draft.
Who should I hang on to?

I like Eller's potential the most of these and he's also the only one who'll play in NHL this year so keeping him is an easy choice for me.
Morin and Khochlachev are good prospects too but I don't see their upsides being any higher than Eller's and therefore no sense in keeping them. Especially since you aren't planning on keeping them past this year there is no point in hanging on those two.

If you have to drop two, Morin and Khok seem like the pretty easy choices. Eller will be in the NHL and should see some scoring line and power play minutes sprinkled throughout. The boat on Morin has passed for now thanks to injuries and Brandon Saad. Maybe in the future he can make it but for now he's an easy drop. Khok is a solid prospect but he's still a few years from the NHL.....so Eller is the pretty obvious keep here.

Keep Eller, already an NHL talent. Neither Morin or Khoklachev, have the big time potential for me to warrant giving up a young proven guy in Eller who is continually getting better.

Keep Eller. Koko and Morin are talented, but they are both stuck in two of the more forward deep systems in the league.

Not that I'm disagreeing with the consensus here to keep Eller but I have a small disagreement on some of the Morin comments. Saad and Pirri have obviously emerged as strong options for future top 6 roles in Chicago but Morin can bring a different element to his game and fill a role on a 3rd or even 4th line if need be. I've been sitting on Morin for years hoping he might emerge as a top 6 player but what I'm starting to wrap my head around is that he might be a nice 3rd liner who can potentially pot 15 goals (40ish points) and rack up 70 PIM's. If that sort of production doesn't sound useful then by all means cut bait on Morin.
