I'm starting to get optimistic too. Things have been quiet all day...a little TOO quiet.

Figure if they weren't about to come to an agreement then you would hear people blowing up how horrible Fehr and Bettmand are all day. That or I am just setting myself up for failure like I have 3425890324583 times before now.

According to a young NHLer I was talking with "...the deal is practically done. We are just waiting for the word on when to report."

This was yesterday, from a player who wasn't (or has never been) at the CBA meetings. Fringe player at best.

Don't know what to take from it, but good news.

Well the deal is basically done aside from them inventing new things to get mad about.

Half-full, half-empty, poorly engineered, same problem: still thirsty for more!

Seems like the NHL/PA think they can just drink straight out of the tap, friggin' pot lickers! Leaving their germs on the only available source of the magic juice! Next thing you know, KHL dispensers will be everywhere, selling for two bits a glass that looks more like a thimble, won't stop me from buying a bucks worth if that is all I can get!
