I'm actually a fan of Button's.

It's pretty easy to hack a guy who's worked/works in the NHL - pretty sure EVERY GM or former GM has a couple moves he wishes he hadn't done. ie-the Marty StLouis move.

But if that's his 2009 and 2010 listing, that's not bad...even if he has McFarland ahead of Tarasenko.

Im pretty sure, this was months (weeks) after Button took over GM as Calgary. Very little, if any, time to actually watch St. Louis play.

Also, St. Louis was passed over in the expansion draft.....

St.Louis also went unclaimed after he was waived. So he was passed twice (first in the expansion draft by the newcomers and then as he hit the waiver wire by all NHL teams).
