I know its only two games in, but is anyone else worried about wheeler?

Doober had him highly touted and many took him early in the draft. I noticed in todays game vs boston he only had 15 minutes and no shots!

Should I be worried???


Or is this another slow start, just like last year?

i wouldnt worry too much about guys in the first 4-7 games.

Wheeler played 17:26 today, including 2:41 on the PP.

He looked off his game in the first game. His speed, hands and timing were clearly off. He looked a lot better today. His speed is quickly coming back, as are his hands and willingness to battle for space (a big part of his game). It may take a couple more games, but today was a big step in the right direction. He'll be back soon.

He also scored in the shootout, so that's something.

I had Wheeler last year, and he got off to a very slow start as well. But I wouldn't panic. He's getting first line minutes on the PP, and the Jets haven't got going yet. They will, and so will Wheeler.

I'd say this applies to every player that has a slow start...
I don't think anyone is nervous about Crosby because he ''only'' has 1 point so far this season.
