I'm generally not into 'slut-shaming' either but have you seen her other pics? These are PG relative to some of the other things she's posted on her twitter. I'm sure she relishes the attention so I don't feel an ounce of remorse in this situation.

Sorry if I offended you, but let's call a spade - a spade here.

I'm not offended, I just ...I get kind of tired, is all. Yeah, she likely does love the attention, but I just cringe at the assumption people often make between how one presents themselves and wanting sex/being promiscuous. I have a friend with an admittedly amazing body, and the amount of shit that is talked about her because she dresses to flatter her figure and appearance...it's frustrating. People assume she's a stripper (and say it as if that's necessarily a bad thing) and that she's a "skank" or a "slut" because she likes wearing a push-up bra with a set of 34Ds. There are all of these negative associations with women exercising their sexuality and I just don't think it's fair.

And perhaps this lady doesn't help matters in some ways, and perhaps I'm just a wee bit wound up (had a related discussion with a roommate of mine earlier today on "acceptable female sex practices" that got me a bit fired up)...

Paulina posted these pics, likely expecting this kind of reaction. That's great, people can drool over her all they like (or don't like) and she'd probably get a kick out of that. It's a win-win for all parties.

It's just, words like ho and slut haven't exactly been reclaimed, and they're rife with negative connotations. I'm of the mind that she's doing nothing wrong here, and that none of these pictures or her actions necessarily cast a negative light on her character or reveal some unmentioned characteristic of her sexuality, so I merely objected to the language used :P. That's all I'm getting at here.
