It might be time to revisit that if so.

Man this is really shocking. Brandon was one of the very first people I interacted with on here and he always struck me as a good guy, albeit a bit flighty, or impetuous as MD put it. He made a great first impression on me which in turn helped sell me on these forums. I counted him among my friends on here, and in a way I still do, but obviously now it isn't the same as before in light of these revelations.

Hopefully he can get his life together and straighten out his act.

I looked back in my email history and noticed some very good interactions. He was even one of the founding fathers of the UHL, and I believe you are GM of his former team. From everything I've seen, good guy.

But if it really is about trouble with medical expenses, well sometimes desperate times call for desperate measures even if that is the wrong thing to do.

He and Dyz were the driving force behind the formation of the UHL. It's kinda complex, but I am the GM of his former team which was actually my original team. Long story there....

For me the troubling aspect of all this is, the fact that he has apparently resurfaced under a new forum name and resumed fantasy league play after stating he had to step away. I had to step away, for work reasons not medical as he claimed, but I didn't come back under a different name.

That subterfuge is what troubles me as to his motives. I hope I'm wrong, I don't like to believe the worst about people, especially ones I count as friends, but with these circumstances it's hard not to.

Yeah some people are owed a ton of money. Especially those who are in all of his leagues. Again, not sure how anyone gets into that many leagues, but whatever.

If he has issues then he should take care of those issues and not resurface with cloud already hanging over his head. I have no problem with people stepping away from leagues for personal reasons. I have issues with scams.
