Intentional or not, I can't be the judge of that, but facts are facts and this guy cannot be trusted with money or any other kind of sentimental investment that would come with wanting to see a payoff to investing in their own teams.

Hi Guys,

As someone who was in most of Brandon's league and went through the constant cancellations of "long term dynasty leagues" that wouldnt see more than a year I'm at least happy this has all come to light so we can address it.

I've started a thread in the AHL league to fiqure out who's still owed cash and looking into the CHDL since it looks like half our cash is in Leaguesafe and half is missing.

My take on what's happened here is that Brandon started with good intents until he started using peoples league fees for his own need's and it snowballed out of control with all the leagues he was starting up. Some guys are estimating around 10-13k in cash. I know 1 owner who's owed around 800 bucks and another who has already contacted the police to start filing charges if possible.

Myself I have been re-imbursed my entry fee for the AHL league and see 50 bucks in leaguesafe for my chdl fee so am owed no money.

I'm also hoping this can start a constructive conversation on the best method of handling money in online leagues. Leaguesafe.com is new to me and looks like a great answer, I would like to hear from anyone whos used it or if there are alternatives like it.

Perhaps we can take this experience and gather a positive result for the community through enhanced awareness of our options to protect our cash and league integrity.

An estimate of 10-13K? All I can say is wow!

With regards to money in online leagues, the safest way is not to join them. I don't know much about leaguesafe, and that might be an answer, but I'd only join a money league (anything over 20 bucks) if it was people I knew personally.

As long as you paid the poolies ontime no big deal. I think what got Brandon in hot water is the sheer number of the fees he was collecting. He was running multiple 28 man leagues in hockey and baseball at 50 bucks a pop. Have some expenses come up or go blow it on electronics and your in deep.

I think it's simply unhealthy to be in that many leagues, either as commish or regular GM.

Reading your post, I remembered that he sent me (and likely many others) a PM about a league earlier this year. His extreme interest in creating money leagues doesn't do anything to allow anyone to give him the benefit of the doubt.
