Source: #Pirates reach agreement with Russell Martin, pending physical.

I had read this earlier today that he wanted to go to the Pirates. People were wondering why and apparently he and Clint Hurdle have a good relationship going back years and he also sees them as an improving club.

Interesting signing if it ends up being true.
