I realy love Spartacus. Best serie ever for me

I watched the first season, besides the campy blood splatter, I really liked it. Haven't seen the other seasons yet. I was hesitant when I heard the original actor died.

Just finished the first episode of The Following and I love it. I was a huge Criminal Minds fan and this is basically that but so much darker. Love it.

I've never used Netflix or watched House Of Cards, but ran across this article...not surprising really, but something to think about:

I tend to agree with the point being made towards the end of the article that this sort of "Big Data" crunching wouldn't necessarily change the process that's already taking place in movies and TV.

I mean, think about how we are seeing shows and concepts up the ante on each other and grow progressively darker and more ridiculous. That's how you end up with shows about zombie slaying and meth dealing science teachers. There's also the whole period piece concept at play as well, which is how you end up with Mad Men and then a ton of copycats.

It's always good to know when your habits are being directly studied but I don't see this changing a whole lot.
