for my:

Brad Richards, Briere, Myers, Yakupov (farm) and my 1st round pick for the 2013 prospect draft

I could definitely use the hits and I do think that Perry/Getz should head back to the ~80pt range but I wanted to get your opinions on whether I'm giving up too much. We've already negotiated a fair amount to get to this point and I don't feel I'm going to get him to budge any further so it's pretty much take it or leave it.

Appreciate it.

I'd go with Getz, Perry and Carlson. More of a guarantee with this group.

agreed. take the Anahaim duo. Hurts to lose Yakupov, but Briere is at the end of his career, and Myers has a lot of competition in Buffalo which will hurt his chances at returning to stardom. Richards is a good player but I think Perry+Getz > Yakupov+Richards

Agreed with the others. In your CATS, I'd prefer the Perry side. I like Perry/Carlson/Getz over Richards/Briere/Myers but losing Yaks would suck. And you'd lose a potential shot at Nathan MacKinnon in the '13 draft. If I was contending this year or next I'd do the deal, but if I was in a complete rebuild, I might hold onto YAks and the 1st and sell off the others for some younger talent (eg Richards and Briere for one of E Kane or Landeskog etc).
