I've read through this post a few times and I have to agree with eyemissgilmour. The Comish wrote something that was taken out of his intended context and proceeded to clearly state why that presumption was unwarranted.

I for one have no interest in seeing women fighting. But you know what else? I have no interest in seeing men fighting either! They are often great athletes, but I personally don't find it entertaining to watch people beat each other up.

Of course it's their choice, male or female, to participate and it's the fans choice to enjoy it or not for whatever reason they choose to have. I, like many others, have no issue with any of that. Differing opinions are no reason to start personal attacks or name calling.
