which two players would you pick out of this group in a yahoo keeper league (G, A, P, +/-, shots, PPP, SHP, GWG)?

With the recent roster changes in Buffalo, I\'m curious what will happen to Vanek\'s production and his +/-. Also, does going to Philly prevent Briere from reaching 95+ points? Jokinen is pretty consistent around 90 points the past two years and shoots the puck A LOT. Also, Semin is getting better linemates this year (Backstrom or a UFA) and he has Ovechkin on the power play.

I\'d take Vanek and Briere.

Jokinen gets honorable mention. But he\'s never seen a playoff game, and Florida isn\'t doing nearly enough to ensure he does.

Jokinen for sure. I would go with Vanek as second. He\'s promising, he loves scoring goals.

I just don\'t like Briere\'s attitude mixed with a big contract.

I might be wrong, but I also find that Semin isn\'t proven yet.

i like jokinen as well, 2 consistent years with not much support. it\'s the 2nd choice thats the tuff one.

vanek- sure he plays with roy and afinogenov but they\'re the #1 target now.they dont have briere or drury to draw any heat, that could hurt large.

gagne- could be in for a great year. they seem to have some depth and briere is a pretty good player but philly is riding a lot of young guns that aren\'t really proven yet. this team could be great or they could not mesh and be right back to where they started.

semin- played real well mainly on the 2nd line and PP with no real depth up the middle. now they have 2 set up men coming in, sweet. i would be a little worried about his consistency but with AO there i\'m sure he\'ll be kept in line every night. if backstrom turns out to be as good as projected semin is gonna have a ton of chances to light the lamp and if they keep clark up with AO and nylander then that means kozlov will be with them as well. i think they have 2 very impressive scoring lines now. could be a dark horse this year. this is without even considering the possibility of an actual PP quarterback with poti.

i\'d say Semin with my 2nd choice and that\'s hard to say considering i\'m a philly fan lol.

I like Briere.

I have mixed feelings with choosing between Vanek and Semin. I don\'t think that you can go wrong with either one. You have seen what both can do.

Vanek - 84 points, 43 goals/41 assists
Semin - 73 points, 38 goals/35 assists

Would you expect Vanek\'s total points to go down? That would probably be a reasonable expectation. Might you consider that Semin\'s total points might go up with the improvement in the supporting cast. I am going to suggest that it will.

It might be reasonable to expect that their point totals, this year, might be reverse with Semin having a higher point total than Vanek. I do not think there will be much difference though.

O.Jokinen and Briere are the best choices given the categories.
