Its official, Miggy is your AL MVP.

Well deserved but this really could have gone either way and I would have been fine with it. That being said, it would have been tough watching a guy win the Triple Crown and NOT winning the AL MVP. Tough to say someone else had a better year.

How much did he win by?

I know the hype for the last three months was how close this would be, but I've felt it should be Cabrera by a country mile. If advanced stats people want WAR to start winning MVP's, then they should start their battle for this on a non-Triple-Crown-winning year.

What a phenomenal season for both Cabrera and Trout, you really can't go wrong with either but I think Cabrera's strong finish and Triple Crown sealed it.

I think "advanced stats people" wanted to prove a point, and what better time then to try and make their case against a triple crown winner..

Sexy, but look under the hood, don't look at the body.

And you don't have to talk WAR, to see how silly it is on the 3 stats for Triple Crown.
