My PK Subban, Pacioretty & Bobby Ryan

for

His Tyler Seguin, Tyler Myers & Andrew Ladd

I don't think this too much to get Seguin. I like that deal if you can pull it off.

I don't like it at all. In a goal heavy league (shots, and GWG/hattricks tilt the value of goals to be significantly higher than assists), I don't see the rationale behind trading Subban for Myers (Subban is likely to score more goals), Pacio for Laad (same argument here), and Ryan for Seguin (Ryan is a perennial 30 goal guy. do you really think Seguin will be much better than that?)

It's a big no from me

Fair offer for the best player in the deal - SEGUIN. Have to give up to get. If it doesn't work out, what you have now isin't too shabby. Don't write off the offensive upside of Myers. He's a great add alongside Seguin.

well goals are worth the same as assists execpt for the the PPG,, but we have PPA too.. HT are a rare thing.. my logic is id be getting the best player in the trade in Seguin... and i find subban and myers can both acheive the same amount of points in the futur.

I'm with Bnhershy. I wouldn't do it. And there's no guy contradicting, only statements saying its a balanced/fair deal. So noone says you win.... If you're a Habs fan you should stick with your guys in this one IMO. Myers is talented, but he'll not get back to his rookie-production any time soon with Buff having Ehrhoff and Leopold as PP-spe******ts. You're treating Seguin as the next great thing here, but I doubt he'll be that valueable. And he's not too strong in the peripherals, which could really hurt your team when you give multi cat guys like Subban in the same deal...

The boys are right in that Subban and Ryan will likely score more goals than Seguin and Myers. And probably MaxPax over Ladd, too.

I'd prefer, in this scoring setup, Subban to Myers.

I'd prefer MaxPax to Ladd - but it's not way off.

I actually prefer Seguin to Ryan...but Ryan is, as the guys say above, a proven goal-scorer who could explode if he's traded/once Selanne retires.

That all being said - I really, truly believe that part of the fun of fantasy leagues is putting your nuts out and seeing what happens.

You've already said that you think Seguin is the best player in this deal. In a points-only league, I'd definitely agree. This isn't a points-only, but I'll let you do the math on how you think the six guys would produce in your settings.

What I'll add is that if you really, really want Seguin, then feel free to do the deal.

But you have to accept that you're giving up a lot and may regret it.

These are my thoughts as well. I wouldn't do the deal. I don't think there's much difference between Seguin and Ryan so you'd lose too much by giving up Subban and Pacioretty as well.
