I would be recieving Hall and Kane.

I'm in a rebuild, and figure I am going to finish near the bottom this year, other GM won last year and is trying to stay in contention.

I don't mind finishing low because I've aquired a 2nd first round pick, and am hoping to make a stab at McKinnon. I actually think I could end up picking 1st and 2nd in the 1st round, so this is a big year for the future of my team.

Just looking for some imput on what you guys think.

Then you have take the deal. You get two young 1st overall picks with lots and lots of potential. You can easily say that Kane is the best player in this deal and Hall's already equally good with Richards with the categories you use.

I would sooo hate to give up E. Staal but I think this trade will work out for you in the long run according to how you portray your team.

Really, the offer is decent as it stands, can you at least squeeze a bit more out of it? Try to. If your trade partner stands firm then it's fair enough to take right now.

I would try and keep Staal, but put Richards on the block for some young pieces back. Staal is still young and a great cornerstone type player. Richards is much older, you can get good value back for him.
