Yeah, I agree...Perry's strength lies in a multi-cat or goal heavy leagues.

I'd keep Crosby....

The only way I'd seriously listen would be if you got a stud F along the lines of Giroux, another stud F along the lines of Seguin and a stud D along the lines of Weber...

I doubt anyone in my pool will pay that price till he's scoring and healthy. Too much risk apparently.

As for the waiver wire. Top 5 forwards are kostitsyn, hudler, McDonald, steen, Dubinsky or Brassard. Defense is Pitkanen.

You made out like a bandit getting Crosby AND Backstrom.

People are going to try and buy low on Sid because they'll say "What if he can't stay healthy"? IMO the lockout will help Crosby get fully healthy and he will be determined to have a huge year.

Personally, I'd have a really tough time trading Crosby unless I was getting something special back (Claude Giroux, Evgeni Malkin and Steven Stamkos).

What if that was the offer?? Say giroux? Or Stamkos? Would it be worth it straight up?

Id probably take Stamkos straight up. Not sure about Giroux...might need a little more just because he won't score as many goals.

Straight up? I would do Stamkos because he's a lethal goal scorer and still very young.

I'd pass on Giroux for Sid, Crosby has better players around him and therefore will have more points. Plus, Crosby is still the better player.

I might be inclined to do giroux+ or Stamkos straight up.

Stamkos owner said no for crosby straight up.

I might be able to get Giroux & J.Staal/Heatley. He might want a rookie back cuz I'd have to drop someone anyway.
