A general comment for Dobber and his team of writers. I'm a frequent reader of the material posted on this site and I have often noticed that some writers' articles are littered with spelling and grammar mistakes. While the content of their postings are generally quite good the mistakes can be distracting to say the least. Furthermore, I think it reflects poorly on the professionalism and quality of information this site is trying to convey. This does not take away from the fact that I enjoy visiting and reading the content on this site as this is meant simply as a constructive criticism.

Nothing wrong with a little constructive criticism IMO but I definitely appreciate the hard work of everyone around here. Through chatting with a couple of writers I know the prep time it takes to put out one article is pretty extensive.

Yeah, this is basically how I feel.

Also, when you point out another person's spelling/grammar issues, you really open yourself up for equal criticism. You've got a small handful of mistakes in your small post, for example. I know that you're not writing an article for piles of readers, but when you complain that it's distracting you, you lose a bit of credibility.

An editor might be nice, but until then it is what it is, and it's pretty great.

We should all switch to using flow charts only.

Considering how busy Jeff Angus is outside of just Dobber Hockey, I think he deserves a break for missing some spelling and or grammar mistakes (he's the acting editor).

I'm pretty picky about spelling and grammar myself in my work, but thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Dobber and I do our best to make sure nothing slips through, but we don't catch everything.

I really appreciate reader feedback on writing and corrections - only way to improve is through practice and constructive criticism.

Thanks Mac, but being busy isn't an excuse for failing to provide the highest quality of reading material on the site.

I feel that right now we have our strongest team of writers compared to any other point in the history of the site. I'll continue to do my best to convey that each day with the posts.
