Nice article Guru, man I am excited about this draft. Barkov is going to be an amazing player he's the one I'm most interested to follow from this class. Russian skill with Finnish work ethic? He's like the perfect player.

Not a bad read, I actually enjoyed it. We have some divergence of opinion about some players (mostly Erne).
Adam Erne: Not that he's not a good player, but I will disagree about his goal scoring ability. There is absolutely no chance this guy becomes the best goal scorer of the 2013. There is atleast 5-10 draft eligible forwards that have more goals than Erne this season, and he plays on a stacked team. He is a thrill to watch, I have seen him live 3 times since he joined the Q. He has indeed very good skating ability, he loves to drive wide on defenseman and then cut hard to the net (like the goal you put in the article). It's actually his go-to move. The knock that I have on him , his that he doesn't have a deadly release (like MacKninnon or Huberdeau for exemple). His release is quick, but not elite. The one player that Erne reminds me a lot is Dustin Brown. I think he will become a very similar player to him if he reaches his upside. Erne has multi-cat beast written all over him. I just want to say a few words about three players playing in the Q that I think, will become good offensive players in the NHL. Frederik Gauthier: 6'4 205 pounds power forward. He has tremendous skating ability for a big guy. He gets his nose wet, very good playmaking ability. His draft stock will rise immensely this season (he played an extra midget year last season which explains while he isn't the most known prospect). William Carrier : This kid is gifted. He is pretty big, he has a very powerful skating strides and his on ice vision is borderline elite. He plays on a very weak team in the Q, but he has been racking points fairly easily for the last two year. Anthony Mantha: He is a personnal favourite of mine. Watching him play , I see shades of Eric Staal. Big , lenghty (sp?) winger with one heck of a shot. He isn't the most relentless player on the defensive side of the ice, but he's no slouch either. He has slick hands and he is always in the right place on the ice. If this guy falls to the second round in the draft, he will an absolute steal. *Big man-crush here*

Good Stuff!
I wonder how many of these players will jump into an NHL role. Barkov? He's 6'2", 194lbs. - He has yet to take a penalty (0 PIMS), and is already playing with men and dominating to boot. Hockeydb has him listed as 16, this can't be right eh?

Druoin returned last from missing six games with a bad shoulder. 2G 2A in his return. MacKinnon potted 2G last night himself. Those two are filthy together. The kid now has 19 pts in 8 Gms. Giddy up!
